The ‘IT’ Burger place in Luxembourg

Some places just get it. They don’t need to do too much or overcomplicate things—they just focus on doing one thing really well. That’s exactly what Munchies is all about.

Located in the popular 12 rue Chimay in Luxembourg City, this spot opened on March 14, 2025, with a simple idea: great burgers, no fuss.
Just five options, each one made with top-tier local ingredients—farm-raised beef from Jeff Malget, fresh buns from Boulangerie Mosella, and house-made sauces that bring everything together. Even the Munchies Special comes in a vegetarian version, because why shouldn’t everyone get in on the good stuff?

Picking a burger is easy, but deciding?

Not so much. The Flying Dutchman is a double smash burger with crispy edges. The Oklahoma Smash leans into grilled onions for that extra kick of flavor. And if you’re in the mood for something different, the Korean Chicken Burger is spicy, crispy, and impossible to forget.

Munchies comes from the same people behind Bella Ciao, Häerz, and Partigiano—so you know they don’t just make food, they create places where you actually want to hang out. And this one’s no different.

The vibe?

A mix of modern and nostalgic. Deep green walls, neon lights, mirrors that make the space feel lively.
Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite at the counter, settling in at a table, or enjoying the terrace when Luxembourg allows the sun to be out, it just works.

And of course, they’ve thought about the drinks. Sodas, sure—but also Champagne (Yesss), wine, and zero-proof (Hello Mysa!) options for when you’re keeping it light.

Expect to spend around €20 for a full meal. —just really good food, made with care, love and fun!

Luxembourg has a new burger spot, and once you try it, you’ll get why people can’t stop talking about it.
